The Sugar Industry Innovation Center leverages the advantages of GIIT as an innovation platform，cooperates with sugar companies, research institutions, and industry associations to deeply explore the high-end, intelligent, and green needs of China's sugar industry, gather domestic and foreign innovative resources, cultivate new productivity in the sugar industry, and promote the high-quality development of the sugar industry.

Research and promote sugarcane harvesting machinery and equipment with strong applicability and high automation levels.

II. Intelligentization

Promote the construction of smart factories in the sugar industry to achieve IoT-based intelligent control of processing operations and enhance production efficiency. Strengthen innovation efforts and promote the application of new manufacturing processes and technologies. Encourage sugar manufacturers to phase out high-energy-consuming machinery and usher in more information-based, automated, and intelligent machinery, thereby boosting industrial transformation and upgrading.

Carry out R&D and commercialization of high-value utilization of by-products in the sugar industry.
